We are so happy you have found your way to our online home. Jazzknights is a home grown online jazz community based in the Nations' Capital, Washington, D.C. The Washington, D.C. metropolitan area has a rich history in the arts and in jazz inparticular. We are a proud supporter of jazz enthusiasts and musicians everywhere! There is a serious resurgence of Jazz in the Washington, D.C. area and the District of Columbia certainly has tons of talent to offer to one and all. It is our hope to help provide a voice for jazz artists and fans in their purest form. The primary use of this site is for information on jazz events in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. JazzKnights.com also serves as a venue for jazz vocalists and jazz musicians to get the word out about their upcoming gigs and various appearances. The former East Coast Jazz Festival was the inspiration for JazzKnights.com. We are now pleased to be a proud supporter of Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival. This MAJF is continuing the proud legacy that Ronnie Wells and Ron Elliston left as a result of their efforts over many years nuturing and growing the East Coust Jazz Festival. The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival just had its second run in 2011 and looks to be a mainstay for many years to come. The festival takes place annually on President's Day weekend in February. Please continue to support jazz. We love you madly!
